Walk from any of the houses to the reprieve of a pool in the summer or through meandering paths and fields to the river year-round. Without ever leaving the property.
Houses are lovingly restored and loaded with character. Nooks to read and create, flooded with light. Heaven. Walk along a stream that weaves through the 26 acre property, enjoy breathtaking views all the way to the picturesque Shawangunkill River. Meander through open fields or under trees and big skies, laze around in a hammock, have a picnic. You will find balance, inspiration, and dream well here. A large organic veggie garden to enjoy and fresh eggs from the chickens.
Choose to stay here as a guest or dream up an event, retreat or intimate wedding.
MAIN HOUSE:
Boasts 4 bedrooms with queen beds, one more bedroom with a twin (and trundle/stowaway bed), plus a (three season) sunroom with a king mattress. 3 bathrooms. Sleeps 10 comfortably. Possibility to rent a room for short or longer stays, writing retreats/creative reboot.
Hardwood floors, wood stove, 6 burner DCS cook stove, eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, large dining room, living room, sunroom (not heated in winter), deck (partly covered).
Relish views of a gorgeous horse farm and cliffs across the road.
PLUS:
Cottage A: 2 bedrooms- one with a queen bed and one with a twin. Bathroom with clawfoot tub. Cottage has radiant heat polished concrete floors, hand hew beams and huge cathedral ceiling, wood stove, claw foot tub, hand carved doors, lots of interesting details. Fully stocked kitchen with open plan, 5 burner stove. Light filled, and inspiring.
Cottage B: 1 bedroom; bathroom with clawfoot tub. Cottage is flooded with light, has high ceilings, wood floors, open style fully-stocked kitchen, spacious living room/dining area plus an outdoor shower!
10 minutes from New Paltz (in Gardiner), 10 minutes from Minnewaska and Mohonk!
